future Cats

Our Future Cats camp will take place July 30th-August 1st from 10:00AM-11:30AM. Camp is held at the DHS Turf soccer field. The Future Cats camp will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game of soccer. Players will work on passing, dribbling, shooting, and defending in a game based situation. Sessions will be designed, organized, and overseen by Coach Smith and Coach Proctor with guest coaches at the camp. Campers will be split into groups based on their grade/age and ability level to make their games/drills as competitive and effective as possible.

Fees for Future Cats camp is $35 and all registrations will include a t-shirt (must register by July 21st to guarantee receiving a t-shirt).

Coach Smith and Coach Proctor are dedicated to making sure that the Future Cats are learning the all fundamental skills of the game of soccer, while beginning to tie in the tactical reasons behind the skills that are taught at camp.

Sample Schedule:

9:45AM-10:00AM - Players arrive, check-in with coaches, and warm-up
10AM-10:05AM - Coaches Address campers and get with their groups
10:05-10:15AM - Warm-up with group leaders/coaches OR group warm-up
10:15-10:35AM - Rotation/Game #1
10:35AM - Water Break
10:40-11:00AM - Rotation/Game#2
11:00AM - Water Break
11:05-11:30AM - Scrimmages!
